Dublin artist Dave Gleeson has worked in advertising and graphic design since leaving school. Primarily self taught, Dave returned to his first love of drawing in the last 20 years concentrating mainly on Portraiture in pencil and pastel – both mediums he prefers for the detail they can bring to his work. Dave is one of Ireland’s most experienced pencil portrait artists and has worked as the Portrait Artist in Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre for the past 18 years at weekends and has various prints of his work in a number of galleries throughout Dublin.
